President / Civil Engineer / Project Manager
Doug Osborn, P.E., LEED AP
Doug oversees all of Hess-Rountree’s projects and provides quality control review of the design documents. Doug has over 35 years of experience in the civil engineering industry all with Hess-Rountree. Doug started working at Hess-Rountree after he graduated from the University of Arizona in 1984 and became President of the Corporation in 2009. He has extensive experience in various sectors including educational facilities, athletic fields and courts, municipal, commercial/industrial, and healthcare.
Civil Engineer / Project Manager
Percy Myron Jr., P.E., LEED AP
Percy has over 25 years of experience of design and construction management experience all with Hess-Rountree. Percy has completed the ACEC Leadership in Engineering Administration Program. He has extensive experience on design and managing projects in the educational, commercial, municipal, and healthcare sectors.
Chief Financial Officer / Project Manager / UAV FAA Certified Pilot
Byrom Hess, MBA
Byrom has over 15 years of experience working at Hess-Rountree. He is responsible for all the accounting/finance, human resources, and administration at Hess-Rountree. Byrom also contributes as a project manager and oversees the 3D laser scanning and UAV departments.
Survey Project Manager
John Marshall, R.L.S.
John manages the survey department and oversees all of the survey work for the firm. He has over 20 years experience working in land surveying. He has extensive experience in working on educational facilities, roadways, industrial, commercial, utilities, solar, and cell tower projects.
CAD Manager / Designer
Adam Mesa
Adam has over 35 years of experience in the civil engineering industry. He has worked with Hess-Rountree for over 30 years. He manages the drafting department and assists the professional engineers as a designer. Adam has worked with AutoCAD since its original release 11 and is proficient in the current release of Civil 3D.
Senior Survey Party Chief
Chris Whitaker
Chris has over 40 years of experience in the land surveying industry. He has worked for Hess-Rountree for over 35 years. Before working at Hess-Rountree, Chris performed retracement boundaries for the forest service. Chris has extensive experience in construction staking, topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys.
